Just a quick post today! Lots more to do but there has been progress! Not without a bit of drama, which seems like it just might be half the fun of ORC.
If you are visiting for the first time, we are revamping our kitchen nook/craft area to make it our very own Empty Nesters' hangout. {Week One is here, Week Two is here, and Week Three is here}
We have white walls! Well, sort of. After sanding and patching for what seemed like forever, we have two coats of stainblocker on the walls, with *probably* two more to go, then finally a coat of white. #paintingfordays
Also, I made use of the Waterlogue app for the first time, and I'm in love! What took me so long? Expect to see hordes of Waterlogue photos on every empty space in this house in the future :)
Out of desperation in my fabric search, I headed to our JoAnn Fabrics, which never seems to have anything new in the way of interior fabrics. I found this floral beauty while trolling the very back aisle, in the far corner of the store. What the what?? I'm a smitten kitten with the print, and the price. More on that later. Also, this gorgeous cobalt blue Moroccan print. Swoon. It's Waverly, found in the darnedest of places that you'll never believe ;)
Back to work for me! To see the 20 featured designers' progress go here, and I'm linking up with all the other guest participants in One Room Challenge here. Thanks again to Linda at Calling It Home for this great event.

Andrea, your fabrics are great! I know what a professional shopper you are so I can't wait to hear all the shopping details. I hope you can conquer those walls. :)

I'm loving what I'm seeing so far! And isn't it funny sometimes where you can find good fabric? I have wanted the waterlogue app for my android for a long time, hopefully it's available now, i haven't checked for a while.

I love the rug! I have been looking for one just like it for my office. Where did you get it? Will you share a link to it if possible?

I love all your fabrics! And the Waterlogue: did you print that out at home?

Love the waterlogue prints - - interested to know how you printed them - on regular paper? The colors look very rich - sometime my prints look better on the screen
