With Valentine's Day just a week away, let's take a look back at some of my tablescapes from years past. You can visit each post in full by clicking on the highlighted year!
In 2010, our table was a combination of two favorites, toile and transferware.
The centerpiece was simply primroses placed in a vintage tureen. Using plants as a centerpiece is a bonus, as they can be planted in the garden afterward!
The stars of our 2011 table were the pretty plates from Pier 1, which are still available.
Once again the lovely vintage candelabra was our centerpiece. We use this piece often, and it really says "romance" to me.
Our 2012 table was set atop a pretty Pottery Barn sheet, used as a tablecloth.
A centerpiece of pretty roses and mixed glass was simple and elegant.
Did you see some items that looked familiar? Yes, I reuse many of the same pieces every year, but mix them up in a way that's fresh and new! I hope you have enjoyed this recap of our past Valentine's Day tables!

Such pretty tablescapes. I have got to start doing more pretty table settings. I guess I'll have to make placemats for the TV trays!

I have two of those bird plates. Funny that they're still around. Seems things come in and go out more quickly there. Love Pier 1.

Lovely tablescapes, Andrea! I'm going to use the red and white transferware dishes I got last month at Christmas Tree Shop for our Valentine table. I don't think I have any red wine glasses though, so maybe regular wine glasses with red wine? : )

What a lovely tablescape. I just adore all of the red. Very classic.

Isn't it nice to go back and see how, using the same colors, you could come up with such different settings? And all lovely, I will add.

Yes, the Pier 1 plates are so perfect for Valentine's Day. Thanks for sharing all your photos and your primroses are beautiful.

What a great idea to recap previous Valentine posts. All of the posts are so pretty. I am partial to primroses and wish they would grow in our area but alas it is far too warm.
I also love the roses with boxwood. I am rooting boxwood right now and it has been a month and no luck. My daughter said it took a very long time and to be patient. I am determined!!!! I adore your vintage cake plate. So pretty! I also love your teapot the roses are in.

Each one of your valentine tables offers a touch of romance. Love the Pier I bird plates. I have them in the yellow, but really like the red. I may have to check out the red if they are still available. Thanks for the recap. It was a pleasure to see your tables.
Happy Valentine's Day!
