After two days of cold rain, this morning the skies cleared and the sun came shining into our little cottage. I did the happy dance on my way out to run some errands :)
I only needed to go a couple of places, but my path took me right by the thrift store. I walked in, spied this pretty china, and was out in a matter of minutes.
Of course these pretty pieces needed to come home with me. We are having a very special birthday celebration here next weekend, and I had already decided on a theme of blue and white to decorate our back patio, in the hopes that we will have nice weather and be able to sit outside.
Sometimes, all it takes is a few dollars and some creativity to create the special look we are wanting.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

Beautiful, Andrea! I love how you used it for plantings. I wish I was able to sit outside already! I feel like I run from the car to the store and back again to avoid the cold and wind.
