I have been doing a little post-Christmas shopping on Etsy with some Christmas money we received, and the first package arrived last night. I finally bought a vintage kitchen scale!
The sort-of- jadeite green is such a pretty color. I love how it matches the green in this vintage tablecloth.
The scale came from The Petite Market on Etsy. She has soooo many nice things, and how cute is this packaging? She has really good prices, too.
Can you all believe these gerber daisies are still hanging in there? It's been two weeks. I trimmed the stems and gave them fresh water every two or three days, just like they always say to on the packaging, and it worked.
It's going to be sunny and beautiful here today, and I might even get out in the garden! But not till I finish catching up on emails. Thank you all so much for your nice messages about the home tour, it really means a lot to me!

Just LOVE this sweet little table with it's vintage goodies!! The scale took my breath away.... So Pretty!!
You will love the Christmas Tree Shop . They always have such great things at great prices and so many unique things for the different Holidays. it is my favorite place to shop.
I agree with you about gifts at Christmas. We just bought a new stove, refrigerator and 2 new TV's at the end of last year so why would we need to spend money on gifts for Christmas that we don't really need. We usually just go and buy what we want or need through out the year and that is good for us.
Thanks so much for stopping by and also for your kind comments!!
Have a great weekend and good luck with shopping!! LOL!!
Hugs,
Deb

Love all of your vintage tablescape! That scale is darling. Love the green color and your vintage tablecloth.
Isn't it nice to shop with gift cards? I just went to Home Depot this morning with one. Of course, I bought paint but, it was free!!
Lovely vignette.

Just perfect! You'll have fun moving that all around. Years ago I had a vintage kitchen scale and eventually got tired of it. I gave it to a friend and she's loving it now...and I'm kicking myself. :)
