Can you believe that it's almost here? Are you ready? I'm not! But getting there :)
We are having a really, really simple Thanksgiving this year, and I'm sooooo glad. I usually relish bringing out all of our turkeys and platters and pilgrim statues, but this year we have just had too much going on. We want to have time to enjoy every moment with Abby, so we're keeping it super easy around here.
Last summer, I let our mums grow wild and leggy instead of cutting them back, and now I have them to cut for our centerpiece. All of these are from previous seasons. They're happy! So were all the little bees who were buzzing around, drinking in their last treat before winter hits.
The inspiration for our table was this wonderful camp blanket. It doesn't actually have any orange in it, but works perfectly for a last tribute to fall, with its vibrant colors.
The pretty orange vintage enamelware pitcher is a new find, as are the gorgeous pewter plates. Here's another tip: if you are going to accidentally photograph your foot while setting up your practice table, make sure you are wearing a cute zebra flip flop :)
And we may actually be able to eat outside, because it's going to be 75 on Thanksgiving day!
Wishing you all a wonderful holiday, full of loved ones and great food. When I come back, we'll talk Christmas :)
Love, Andrea

That is lovely. Everything about it says "fall, harvest, thanksgiving"!
And I love the zebra flip flop, lol. Flip flops are my footwear of choice, from the first spring day, until the snow falls!

Oh...your table is so pretty. I think eating outside for Thanksgiving is a great idea. I ate outside last year in front of an outdoor fireplace. It was a little cool but I really enjoyed it. Love that enamel pitcher. I forgot to tell you that this weekend there are suppose to be big sales all over Pier 1...I'm sure your daughter knows but that with her discount could really get you some deals. I'll be looking for some.

Your table is so lovely! We're keeping it pretty simple this year since it's just 4 of us.
Hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving!
