Candy Trimmed Tea Towel, a Dollar Tree Craft

Hi everyone! How was your Thanksgiving?!! Ours was totally relaxing, and enjoyable, just what we needed. But now, it's beginning . . . 

We are all soooo excited for the Christmas holiday. First up is our Candy Christmas Kitchen, and I have been doing a little crafting to add some new items to our candy themed decor. You can see last year's Candy Kitchen here. 

Dollar Tree is a favorite hangout of mine for holiday items, and this year I found some really cute candy ornaments. I couldn't resist sewing them to the edge of this gingham kitchen towel, also from Dollar Tree. I also sewed on a few scraps of rick rack from my stash, such a great use for the small leftover pieces.

What a great idea this is, Andrea--love the rick-rack on the towels, and the candy trim on the bottom! And I am so in love with Dollar Tree towels--well done for coming up with another cute way of using them.
