This is a first! Me, displaying team logos in our seasonal decorating. Who knew?
I'm not really a fly-your-team-flag-from-the-front-porch kind of girl. But this, I can live with. For once, burnt orange works with my decor :)
Have you seen the College Duck Tape? Our Michaels just had the two biggest Texas colleges, but I bet that every Michaels store has their local college. You can find them here, also.
I was out of burlap ribbon, so I just cut some strips out of my burlap yardage and pressed the Duck Tape right on. I wired the bow together and then onto a fall wreath made from a leaf garland, some berries, and a couple of sunflowers. All I had on hand was an evergreen wreath, so I just made do with that! I can pluck the fall foliage off after Thanksgiving and use the same evergreen wreath for Christmas.
How nice that I can show my team spirit and still be, well, opulent.

I love your wreath. Great bow. My burlap is pulled out and my wreaths out of the attic. Hope to put mine together tomorrow. I love the Duck tape, who knew. I'll look for it here, with an "A".............Hubs will love it! Thanks for the info.

I didn't realize the tape was a reference to a college, and I thought it just looked like a good Texas floral!( you know Southfork style--love that show) It looks great! I like my Jayhawks, but those funny little birds would ruin a nice wreath.

Very cute idea. I have seen the college duck tape here. Would work for both our main college rivals - orange for OSU or green for Oregon Ducks.

Welllll, I used to live in Texas, I love Texas, but I am not a Texan, and I don't care for sports---but I love the tape. I bet you Texans will forgive me if I just use it as a western touch, right? Probably not available here, though. Darn. That's cute.

Okay I was attracted to the wreath from the picture but I love that. It is subtle and still remains classy. We don't follow a college team but we love our Steelers. Wonder if they will come out with that. My husband does have a flag and it will fly often with our Christmas decorations. Classy right?

Love all the fall decorations at your house. I've read several posts and it all looks wonderful.
It evidently is tasty too, by the looks of that nibbled pumpkin!
This duct tape is fantastic---is there no end to it? Hook 'em Horns!
...popping on over from Tweak it Tuesday party... but I think I read so many posts at once...this isn't the post!
...have a great week. Pat
