Oh I love all your plaid thermos's...looks like they are ready to take out hot coffee or cocoa while your working in the yard.

Anita

I am loving the plaid!! I am keeping mine around for a while definitely. Love your kitchen and the colors are just wonderful!!

Kathy @ Creative Home Expressions

Everything looks so pretty, Andrea! I don't find that you look desperate to hold onto Christmas at all ~ plaid is such a great "warm" feeling pattern. Reading your post has me eager now to get my Christmas decor put away, but I'm a stickler for waiting until January 6th. Although I may just get the boxes down from the attic and ready!

Pat@Back Porch Musings

Your shelves look beautiful. I used to root ivy etc. I should do that again.

Happy New Year!

Kim

Love all the red and plaid. Very cute. I would keep it out, too.

shelia

I love your kitchen and your shelves! You make everything look so wonderful!
Be a sweetie,

We had a plaid thermos just like yours when I was growing up. Wonder where that thing went... Your red and black combo is lovely! Happy New Year to you and yours!

Your kitchen looks like a very happy place. I love your red and black and kitschy plaids. Very fun! I still have some of my bottle brush trees out, but Christmas is all put away. Still waiting for snow ...
Happy New Year!

Love your red plaid thermos and cooler collection. I blogged this week about red plaid. In 2012 I'm going to be on the lookout for some things like you have on display for my own home.

Cheryl

Love your red plaid thermoses. I had the lunch box to match back in elementary school (many years ago!) Luckily I saved it and have it displayed in my kitchen too. Your vignettes are beautiful...love your style.

I love your rustic winter vignette! It's perfect (not too Christmas at all). Love all of the plaid!

Great to have you be a part of Seasonal Sundays. Your tea pot in your header would fit into my post perfectly.

LOVE the kitchen decor!!! I think you totally pulled off rustic winter vignette. ;)

Denise @ Forest Manor

Hi Andrea,

I think this must be the year for plaid. I'm seeing it everywhere in the stores and in blogland. I love your plaid thermos! I did a plaid tablescape for Christmas this year, and had such fun putting it together.

I really love your kitchen! It's just charming and looks like a great place to cook in or just be in. Happy 2012 to you! Visiting from Seasonal Sundays.

Oh Yes! Red and black is a must. You did a great job of combining plaids and rustic. Yes our weather is kind of weird, I am close to Dallas also.

Taunnie

Love, love, love how you styled your shelves, but your whole kitchen is just beautiful!

Debbie@Mountain Breaths

I love your plaids, and wish I kept mine. I have a habit of getting rid of the old when I bring in the new!

All of your displays look absolutely beautiful! I love those plates especially! Thanks so much for your sweet comments on my blog! I would love it if you could join in our "impossible challenge" tomorrow.

Sandy

I love your kitchen! I also love the color of red and black and love the way it pops against your wall and cabinets. Love, love, love color. I also like white rooms but I have to say it's good to see some color too. I also love the look of a little table lamp in the kitchen.
