Last week was our (final) Homecoming Week (sob) at our daughter's high school. It's an extra big ordeal for the seniors, and they do it up with a bang. I feel liked we raced through the events, just trying to get it all done. But now that it's over, we can relax and relish the experience. Here are just a few photos to share with you all. Warning: insane amount of photos coming!
Every day of Homecoming Week has a different costume theme:
Twins Day
Decade Day
Super Hero Day. Abby chose to be Justin Beiber (???) At least everyone now knows that she looks like someone other than Miley Cyrus. Even her theater director didn't recognize her!
We have a community pep rally and parade every year. So fun!
Captains Sami, Abby and Nely
The Seniors
The Juniors
Wildcats! The cheerleaders all got those cute garter mums to wear for the parade and football game.
And here they are with their senior mums. You wouldn't believe the collection we have going of these things after four years of high school.
Here's a bad grainy photo of a super-amazing stunt! And we won, 29 - 7.
Every year our class has gathered before the dance to take group photos. It's mayhem, and just so fun.
They all looked so amazing. And no one had the same dress!
Abby with some of her besties.
With "our boys," the project group from junior year. We have unofficially adopted them as our own.
And last, the three of us
Thank you for stopping by! I hope everyone is having a good week.
Love, Andrea
You must be so proud of your daughter. She is lovely & obviously so involved in her school.

How fun! It has always looked to me like Abby has loved every minute of high school. That's great!!

HI Andrea, what a sweet post about your daughter. I remember my daughter's last homecoming a couple of years ago...she was a princess on the court. We just loved all of it and I remember crying through it. She is now a Junior in College...we talked just about every day. Boy do I miss her...but we text and facebook alot! You must be so proud. She is beautiful and looks just like mama!
I laughed at your comment just now how you went to the thrift store and came home and redid stuff. I can relate. Sometimes I will see ONE picture...just one but it will cause a CHAIN REACTION in me to redo everything or organize or start a new project. Hahahhaa...now I show hubby pictures of things and he recently brought home a huge rust colored mum plant for our entrance. He said it reminded him of one of the pictures in a post I had shown him! I just about wet my pants! hahahahaha....
I'm definitely showing him more pictures! yay!
Well have a wonderful week and enjoy your sweetie!
blessings,
Debbie
