Beautiful changes Andrea!

what a wonderful transformation, so airy and pretty! Your Grandmother's painting is a true treasure.

How wonderfully light and airy your room is! I love the red but I know how it limits the decorating. Your grandmother's painting is a real treasure. I think I would match the frame around the painting to work with the mirror. That's my two cents worth. Thank you for sharing and I'm signing up to follow so I can find you again. I'm curious as to the other changes you'll be making. It's nice to 'meet' you!

What a great room, lighted and airy. Beautiful changes, you're so talented! Love it!
Come for a visit, I'll be delighted if you did.

My dining room used to be painted raspberry, too. You did a great job! Spice delight....it looks creamy and rich, like creme brulee. What is the base color? I really like it!

What a Fresh and Bright change well done, I have given you an award please pop over to accept:)

Wow! I'd like to compare you to Martha Stewart, but I think you are far better! My mom needs to see your site. She'll love it too. Such a beautiful home!!

Love how fresh the room looks now. I've always had lighter walls which really make the accessories pop. Great job.

Sherry @ No Minimalist Here

Love the new look of your dining room! The mirror and frames are wonderful.

I love the freshness of the room now. That is the same way I felt when I painted over my deep yellow walls. It just feels better doesn't it? Looks beautiful and thanks for joining WUW.

My Blessed Serendipity Life

What a transformation! I am loving the frames left empty. Isn't it fun to fluff and change it up once in awhile? love it.

Beautiful transformation! So light and bright now. I love your frames, tiered plate stand and green vase. Your vignette is so pretty. *Becca* (www.adventuresindecorating1.blogspot.com)

Great changes!! I pulled the dark blue wallpaper off my walls in the dining room so know how you felt about it always being dark and needing to lighten it up! I still haven't painted though the walls kindof look cool - old world look- definitely need to do something soon though but need to texture the walls and am not sure what I am wanting in that area.

Beautiful transformation! Love the frames on the sides of your mirror. Just became a follower, Martina

Very nice! I also just painted our red room (literally, today) & I can't believe how much brighter it looks!

The room looks great. It looks so fresh.

Wow...what a change a coat of paint makes. I had to laugh at your "Kim" comment. She makes me want to paint everything in my house!

Love the light airy look! Looking forward to seeing what else you do. I'll be back. I'm your newest follower.

I'm new to W.U.W. and have started at the top of the list. I lean toward the darker colors but since my blogging adventure began I'm thinking differently. Love the fresh bright look of your dining room.
Blessings ;-)

This is REALLY lovely. I usually adore red walls, but this change is just so elegant. You must be thrilled. I love the sideboard, too.

I really like the lighter look and love your old frames. Your grandmothers painting is a treasure, you are so lucky to have it.

Fabulous change! I was just working on my own dining room today trying to lighten and brighten as well so I totally get where you are coming from. I think it is all looking amazing and you are headed in a great direction. Plus, you gave me an idea for what to do with the narrow table I use as a buffet in my dining room! :-)

That is beautiful! I love the changes and it works really well for anything you want to decorate with now. Such pretty frames too.

Just gorgeous Andrea! I love it in it's new color and I do love red too- but it looks so light and airy now! Beautiful! Thanks for sharing at Feathered Nest Friday!

Oh, I am soooo glad you linked this up to Inspiration Friday! This has truly been stuck in my head since I saw it and it was so great to get to see it all over again.

Your dining room transformation is great ~ and just today I saw a lot of empty frames at a neat antique store I frequent. I was thinking of that for MY eating area. Now I know how cute it is ....
Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful change from the Red...Hugs and smiles Gl♥ria

Looks wonderful! I love the frames!

Thanks for linking this up!

The red was a beautiful rich look....but I really like the change!! Much brighter now and the neutral color will allow you to change it up easier. :)

A nice change -- I, too, like the lighter walls.

This looks lovely. I am looking forward to seeing you at My Dream Canvas.

The empty frames are a nice touch. Looking at it gives you a sense of... potential, you know? The dining room underwent a nice transformation, and there’s no doubt that there would be a few more adjustments before it gets completely settled in..
