Hi everyone -- I sure didn't mean to go two weeks without blogging! This past month has gone by in a flash, and I haven't had any craft or decorating projects going on, just work. And I'll admit I wasn't into decorating for Thanksgiving like I usually do. But I'll be going after Christmas with a vengeance!
Looking back at this past year, I certainly did not devote myself to this blog as much as I would have liked. That's going on my list of New Year's resolutions for sure, to get better at taking a few minutes to share more of my everyday life with you all. I know I always enjoy reading the little things that you share with me!
So today's is just a quick post, to share the beauty I'm seeing when I look down the street.
Love that my neighbor's tree matches their front door. Here in North Texas we don't start seeing our real fall color until late November. It's usually at full peak the first week of December. We have to wait a long time, don't we?!
But it's so worth the wait.
Do you see what I see, on the edge of our roof? Yep, Christmas lights! They get turned on Thanksgiving night, every year. No cheating, either, and turning them on early, even though Iwant to!
I'm joining A Southern Daydreamer for Outdoor Wednesday. Enjoy!
Wow gorgeous pictures.

It's hard to imagine fall color when up North we're gearing up for Christmas. But I sure would like those warmer days and nights you have. Happy Thanksgiving.

Beautiful! We have a little color left here in the Carolina. The fall colors have lasted a long time this season!

All the leaves are off the trees in our area. We are awaiting our first snow... La

You may have been away from blogging for awhile, but you made up for today. A very pretty grouping of fall trees and their leaves. We do not have many here yet and probably not till frost.

Very pretty!
Heavy rain during the night last night wiped out a lot of the pretty leaves in my area. We did not get a lot of color this year due to the very dry Summer/early Fall. Thanks for sharing.
Happy Thanksgiving.

You're right, so pretty! (love your neighbor's door, too- wow).
I also looked at your garden reveal- much nicer with the sweet picket fence!
I would love it if you would link up your garden posts on the Tuesday Garden Party I host at www.AnOregonCottage.com- your garden is great!

We don't have any change of color here in Florida so I sure enjoy your lovely photos. Happy Thanksgiving.

Calling by from Italy as I am participating in Outdoor Wednesday and doing some blog hopping.
Your autumnal colours are truly beautiful, I love the red. We do not see much red in the leaves here, mainly golden colours, although I have some in my garden.

The color has been exceptionally pretty this year hasn't it? Here in our neighborhood, we've had some really gorgeous COLOR, which for Texas, is well, kinda odd. :) Global warming maybe? I'm not sure, but I do LOVE it.
