It’s gloomy and damp outside, but I’m relishing the day today. Because tomorrow, the temps will drop, we’re expecting a high of only 45 and several more days of winter! Maybe that’s because it IS still winter! I can’t really complain though, because we have had so much beautiful, mild weather this year.
Here are a few things I’m enjoying this morning –
The first few blooms on our climbing rose bush. In a few weeks, it will be covered with hundreds of gorgeous blooms like these. Wow, we really need to paint our gate!
These petunias have been in this planter since last fall. I brought them in during the few freezes that we had, and they have rewarded me by blooming in an assortment of colors. When I bought them, they were all the same dark purple!
New impatiens will be divided and planted all around. These hanging baskets are great for dividing, with their full, large plants. There are usually 4 or 5 in each basket.
Our jasmine vine only has a few blooms this year. I think most of them were frozen when, after a warm spell, it was ready to bloom in January. Or maybe I should have cut it back last fall – does anybody know?
I adore this cardinal mat. And the price, $7 at Big Lots! We have two pairs of cardinals who visit every day. They are so tame – I think they may have been the babies who were practically eating out of my hand last spring.
It’s starting to rain! Time to bring in the outdoor cushions and pillows!

I came by way of Penny's blog~ The Comforts of Home.
I was admiring the lovely Sunflower themed picture of yours that she had displayed when I realized I have the same vintage yellow rose tablecloth and a similar vintage whitework topper.
I thought I'd come over and say "Hello." I have enjoyed my visit, you have a lovely blog:-)
