These sweet vintage tole trays were a thrifting find a while back, and I had not yet found the perfect place for them. Today when I was cleaning in our tiny entryway, I was inspired to hang them above our chippy shutters. The color makes me so happy!
These old shutters were a Canton find years ago, and I still love them as much today as I did when I first brought them home.
A long time ago a friend down the street brought me these little sconces. She had found them in her neighbor's trash heap! Can you believe they are still here, probably 15 years later? I always thought I would replace them, but I foufed them up with these chandelier shades, and here they still are!
A few scraps of toile (big surprise there!) and some cute pom fringe from Hobby Lobby, and voila. I know I have been promising everyone a lampshade-covering tutorial for ever, and someday I really will get around to it. But I do still make these custom for clients, you can see another one here in my shoppe, if you're interested in having one made, just convo me and I'll get you some pricing!
Always moving around the house, the roosters now reside in here too. And a pretty berry wreath that also came from the thrift.
We're so fortunate to have this cozy little room. Even though it's tiny, most homes in our 1920s neighborhood don't have an entry at all. It's a sweet little place to have to decorate!
